Halloween should we have it in australia?

November 3, 2011 Posted 7:09 PM

Halloween in Australia is not very big most people celebrate it’s more a American thing
Halloween is where people ( Young Kids) go trick or treating. Where adults go to Halloween parties and dress up as spooky things calve pumpkins.

I think australians should celebrate halloween because its fun and this year i took my brother and sister trick or treating they got candy they dressed up it would be an amazing thing to do if everyone did it in australia. I went trick or teating because its really fun..

The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a secular, community-based event characterized by friendly  activities for kids such as trick or treating

The yellow boat road is about a man(Rob Pennicott)  that is hoping to stop the disease of polio with 2 boats  as a major international fundrasing by the rotary to raise $200 million towards the eradication of the crippling illness, Polio.

the website has lots of great links to explore including information about the journey around Australia and about the boats, and the sponsors Rob Pennicotts a satellite tracker to monitor exactly where the two boats are. Robs journey around AUSTRALIA has been a great journey.

Robs fellow skipperskipper Mick Souter and cameraman Zorro Gamarnik are currently circumnavigating Australia.

They departed Sydney on the 2nd June and are embarking on a 12,000 mile journey anticlockwise, arriving back in Sydney early in September.

the name of the Rotary project is

Rotary’s Polio plus campaign

the four countries that are targeted with polio are

  • Nigeria
  • Pakistan
  • India
  • Afghanistan

In Australia their are lots of place’s to go. Such as Sydney,

Sydney  is one of my favourite places. Sydney has very nice water views in fact the opera house is huge you can stay there but it would be about 1.000 dollars a night, Sydney harbour you can catch a ferry or a water taxi. Bondi beach for a swim Luna park for all your fun activities and a really good time westfield shopping center for all your shopping  (; ( Girls ) sydney harbour bridge walk across it. Or drive! or visit the wildlife center of the Sydney aquarium for a very nice time.

And another great place is…. Adelaide for the best time of YOUR LIFE!!

In Adelaide you can go Rock Climbing climb the highest mountain or shop till you drop. Go catch a wave when you go surfing or watch the drag cars race. Be a rock star for the day or even  visit the beach’s  have a good time doing what EVER you like. You can swim with the dolphins and have a good time. Romantic boat rides for 2, Or if you’ve had a long day a massage will soon do the job Or all body treatment.

Melbourne is an amazing place..

In melbourne You can visit the national parks, go to franstion beach albert park lake escape to the city. Go out clubing or even walking go to the the markets and shops bars are a good way to get drunk. Go to  Melbourne airport it’s big like really big

This idea came form Mr davo devil blog

Useing Images in a post

September 1, 2011 Posted 7:29 PM

Today in ICT we are learning to add images in a post with out using other people’s photo’s

from google or someone else’s blog.

It’s important to use images because;

1.) Because it helps people get an idea of what your writing and just helps them understand or get a clue.

2.) It show’s people what your talking about and give’s them something to look at

What ever image or music I use , i have to attribute the original owner.

The tree!

August 25, 2011 Posted 7:57 PM

Yesterday it was really really windy.  At my house is a tree and that tree is big really tall,

the wind knocked the tree down and the tree landed and my back door breaking  this white wood  arch way that  leads to the back that was holding it up, I’ve got some photo’s on my phone . The tree has blocked the walk way to the back and you have to walk around ( but you have to try NOT to slip )

The people are going to chop the tree up and take it away on the weekend.
